aligning or moving text (2001)

Hi Everyone,



Can anyone tell me of way of aligning text perfectly. For example I was creating a Layout today for the first time, I used the balloon note command, which creates legends automatically in the lower left hand corner of the sheet. This is great, but the text came out to far apart both in height and width, and some of the text ended up in the drawing border, I moved the text and then wasn't able to align it again. This made the drawing look a mess, and so I ended up creating a table and filling in the text again!!! I would be grateful for any help.

Turn snap to grid on. In 2001 the choice is Utilities>Environment and choose Snap to Grid. Then, choose View>Draft Grid to change grid settings.
