Adding Repeat Region to an existing table

My assembly format has a BOM table built into it. On a particular assembly drawing, I want to ADD a table column showing the Index number (rpt.index). I can add the column, create the repeat region and assign the "rpt.index" parameter, BUT for some reason, it will not show the index numbers. Any ideas? I don't wawnt to update the assembly format file because I don't want this added column in all my assembly drawings.

check attributes, it is set to no/duplicates or check repeat region relations, if there is any relation set of rpt.index
