4-axis help required

I have a problem in machining a simple part. Any help in this regard is highly appreciated..


It is a restriction

I have to produce this part on 4axis mill.


i am unable to produce a proper CAM for this part. I have already used profile and surface mill but cannot control the retract of tool.


I am attaching the part for the reference.

You can do the with a trajectory sequence. You need to go into the model and create a datum curve in the center of the cut. Then you can pick "curve" as an automatic cut. You approach looks like you could use "normal to plain"
