2008 installation problems anyone?

Has anybody else experienced installation problems with 2008?


We have a couple computers that flat out will not let it be installed. They are a couple years old but do meet the system requirements as per the web site.


I have also been having very slow response to mouse and keyboard input as well as wierd shadow windows that don't completely disappear when switching windows.

What OS are these old machines running? And what kind of video card and driver??
