What do you use for thickness analysis?

I've been looking at my options lately.

PE_Wallcheck and 3D Caliper are probably my favourites so far but they are very expensive. GeomCaliper is off the list as I didn't like it.

I believe the Mold/Castng module for Pro/E has a hidden 3D thickness analysis tool. Has anyone got experience with it?

What other options are there, and what do other users use? I've no problem with exporting and using a separate program to do the checks.
