Is it posible to put the units in mm (instead of inchs) forever.


I work with Wildfire 2.0

Yes, you must change units in you template model adn save them.

i u set config options dis way , will get all in mm.

config options are in tools, options.put it in load point or startup directry.

Yes I have found tools,option and all those template.


I also can change all those inlbs into mmns (or mmks). but to put into load point


or startup, I didn't succeed.


Will you explain one more time how to do the rest.


I'm afraid to do wrong u c.

after u change it , u can see an option of save a copy,

save the config option to the pro/e startup directry , config.pro as name.

this will work

save config.pro in text folder of your pro/e installation. For example


C:\Program Files\proeWildfire 3.0\text

I work with WF 2.0


I still don't see any option of save a copy, I only see ....add/change.


After changung the text you can push on add/change and than on apply.


But after doing this all, nothing is changed. the units are still in inch.

Go to Edit-Setup-Units and that will change the units of your file.

By changing the units in Edit-Setup-Units, you cann't change it permantly.


I want to change the units 4ever, so if you know how to do it............

As I said before, I didn't found any save option, there are only add/change option and apply.


After doind this, nothing is chsnged !


So I still cannot make any models in mm

.

The save option for the config.pto file is at the top of the window that holds the options. It is a standard save icon.

Just open pro/e, and see which directry it opens by default, if u hev not specified it...

thats start up directry
