Unbend this part

Hi Joseba,

I tried to open the file, but it does not respond,

Anyways, try opening your part using the sheetmetal module and introduce a RIP at any cross section. Then try to unbend it

I don't know if this really works, but just give it a shot

Hi,

You can try to unbend torus using flange wall/s in sheetmetal. Example:

1. Create your torus skeleton with curves

2. Add temporary cylinder wall to attach flange later on

3. Rip cylinder wall and make a flange wall using profile curve with small bend radius on attachment edges

4. Now you can flat it, add holes etc.

5. Bend it back and rip out cylinder wall surfaces
