UDFs

Guys,


Currently i have a UDF set up for a bolt hole pattern. It contains a note annotation and in the annotation i have linked the parameters for the hole diameter (&d13), hole depth(&d12), and the number of holes in the pattern (&p27).


Now i made a family table for the UDF so i can change the diameter depth and number of holes for each instance.


The problem i am running into is when i insert my UDF into a new part, the note that is attached to the UDF shows a value of *** for the number of holes. Is there another way to link the parameter for this pattern to the note so that it will show up properly.


Any help would be appreciated.

correct me if I am wrong but there is no control over Standard Hole within edit of dimensions. Reflected MXX dim is read only value and can not be changed
