Tricks for bolding NOTE text

Change the color (text style) to be the same as geometry (white), assuming you plot geometry in a thicker pen.

I tried that. For some reason it didn't affect the text. I'll keep trying to build on this though, thanks.

For themethod dr_gallup used you will need to setup a pen table.

What do your printer or plotter settings look like? This is the pcf file we are using for the printer and the pen table file:

plotter MS_PRINT_MGR
button_name MS Printer Manager
button_help Print using Windows Printer Manager.
plot_drawing_format YES default
plot_segmented NO default
plot_roll_media NO default
plot_label NO default
plot_handshake software default
create_separate_files NO default
plot_with_panzoom YES default
rotate_plotting NO default
allow_file_naming YES
plot_name NO
interface_quality 3 default
plot_destination file default
pen_table_file $pro_directory/text/table.pnt
plot_sheets current default
paper_size A default
paper_outline NO default
plot_clip NO default
plot_area NO default

pen 1 thickness 0.050 in color 0.0 0.0 0.0
pen 2 thickness 0.010 in color 0.0 0.0 0.0
pen 5 thickness 0.010 in color 0.0 0.0 0.0

Here is something else to try, unless you have already determined how you are going to specify thickenss. Remove any references to a table.pnt file in your config.pro and *.pcf (plotter configuration) file. Remove the table.pnt file from your working directories. The system will then use the thickness values you specify under the Text Style tab of the note properties.
