Hi Everyone,

Yes it is possible to transfer from Pro-E to Autocad and back again. I currently useWildfire 2 and Mechanical Desktop 6 which is Autocad version 2002. To do this export your part file as a step file. You will get a pop-up asking you to set the type of file you want. Choose solid and faceted for Autocad. Open Autocad go to the insert menu on your main menu (its a drop down) and choose step command. This will allow you to search for your file. Simple open the file, and then save it as a drawing file.

Best regards John
