Top Down Assembly

Hi All,


I need to design a part using top down assembly.I m planning to creat a skelton model first.But when i click on "create component in assembly model" the selton model is not active.I am sure somebody can come up with a fine solution


Any help will be appreciated.

The simple answer is that you don't have the Advanced Assembly license (required for true top-down design).


Without the license, you can't use most of the useful features, such as skeleton parts, layouts, copy/publish geometry, etc.
