Hi All

below is my tollerance setup for wf 2.0. the problem im having is that in a drawing it is not showing the tollerances and when going into the properties of the dimensions the option to change the tollerance mode is greyed out.

can anyone shed some light on this?

!********** TOLERANCE SETUP **********

allow_rfs_default_gtols_always YES
tol_mode plusminussym
tolerance_standard ISO
tolerance_class medium

best regards,

Hi doronron1

I've had a look at the dtl file and it actually says that the tol_display is set to yes.
I have shown exactly what is in my dtl file below.
don't suppose you have any other ideas as to what it could be?

just had another look at the config.pro and saw that tolerance table string isnt poinying to a file.
I don't actually have a iso file in the Tol_Tables file though.

Could it be that it cant find a tolerance table therefore cannot assign a tolerance hence why the tolerance mode in the drawing properties of a dimension is greyed out?

below is what is written in the config.pro

tolerance_table_dir C:\Wildfire\Tol_Tables

I am having the same problem
smiley19.gif
. Have set up my upper and lower limitsin thedim properties and the box to set tolerancemode is also grayed out. Have tried both driven dims and created referencedims along with setting the .Prt environment settings to show tolerances. Tried several other drawing with no luck, any input to solve this grayed out "can't touch me" box would be great.

Cheers

I would check the settings of the individual drawings first & foremost (since they may not have been created using the correct dtl file).

The I would confirm that the other settings are correct - the Tolerance setup isfrom the Edit -> Setup menu (as shown below).

Then you should be able to see the following when you open the dimension properties in the drawing file - if not there may be a problem with your setup.

In our installation of Pro/E we have "tol_tables" directory in which there's "iso" directory with TTL files and also config.pro option "tolerance_standard" is set to "ISO".

So this could be a problem, since Pro/E can't load tolerance table files.

Try going into Tools --> Environment --> Make sure there is a check mark next to "Tolerance Dimensions"

Hope this helps
