Time-stamp on drawings

Perhaps a quickie for somebody?

I'm using a note on a drawing to show the date - I have used the format:

&todays_date

I also want a time-stamp.

Is there a similar format?

Thanks in advance

Dave

If you install Acrobat 7.05 Professional, it automatically integrates with Pro/Detail and there you can add time stamp, after saving the file as pdf.

You can use plot_label in you printer.pcf file to add user name, object name, date & time stamp to hard copy.

&PROI_CREATED_ON works but that is the last time it was checked into Intralink.Ill add that to the customer title block but I think what I want is the printed time.

Now they want the &todays_date to be in 02/16/09 format instead of 17-Feb-09 format.

Try using the config.pro option: date_type_parameter_format

Here is an example I have used with success showing PDMLink dates drawings. The date will the be shown like: 2009-02-18
date_type_parameter_format %yyyy-%mm-%dd

You should then be able to use this to get the format you prefer:
date_type_parameter_format %mm/%dd/%yy

I hope this works for you.

Kim
