Thread Specs

Hi,

Can anyone point me to a good site that will give me standard thread specifications. I need to model some threads using helical sweeps, but I don't know the standards that I will need in order to sketch my cross section. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yeah thanks...i'm trying to avoid having to buy one...pretty expensive right? Especially when I only need it for the thread info. Might have to just buy it though.

There are other less expensive options to gain good thread information depending on your specific requirements.


A Teravin or Zeus booklet offers good basic thread information for a couple of dollars.


The internet is also a good source, I have found information on many non-standard thread forms there.


The Machinery Handbook is however the ultimate.
