stupid assemblies in BOM

schick

New member
I hope someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong...

I'm having trouble with a parameter showing up in a repeat region for an assembly drawing. The individual parts show the parameters "part_number" &"description" fine.

If I have a subassembly I'm pulling into the model, I get the info for the "part_number" parameter, but I get nothing for "description".

The report parameters I'm using are of the &asm.mbr.User Defined type. I've tried every combination of report parameters that seems logical to no avail. Someone please tell me what I'm missing or doing wrong.

Thanks a ton!!!

I would check to see if it is one of these three oversights first:

The parameter doesn't exist in the subassembly (or subassembly componet).

The parameter name is mis-spelled in the subassembly (or subassembly componet).

The parameter doesn'thave a value (is empty)in the subassembly (or subassembly componet).

Thanks rcamp!!

I knew it was something stupid... just didn't realize the stupidest part was me... Definately don't want me to be a spellchecker... duh...
