splitting bom ballons

Isit possible to split balloon qty. selectively of some comps.


eg.qty.of all comps.are shown as total qty of that comp. in that assy. ie 1/14,2/66 etc.


I would like to redistribute some qty.of certain comps. likehardware to be shown at diiferentviews (within the same drw) for servicing/understanding point of view.I tried using redistribution but does not work - asks for balloon with same index. and I can not find one since all comp. and qty are of total qty. I tried exploding but it does work but explodes all other comps which I don't want

use first the split command to split one balloon into multiple ones, then use redistribute to put qty from one ballon to another.
