hi there i am new to this, and i am having a little trouble.I was wondering whether anyone knows how to put a sloped top, on top of a piston. i just can not work it out.

Several ways of doing it.

I'd suggest creating an inclined plane, corresponding to
the position you want the sloped top to go to.

After that, create a sketch for the diameter of the boss,
and project an extrusion up to that plane.
