I have a project to build a bridge for class. I am trying
to run a proper simulation on my bridge design through
solidworks but have run into some trouble.
I'm following this simulation technique used in a video i
saw on youtube.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKnfo6I6zJU
now i passed the part where she right clicks "create new
simulation" but after that she has the option to
individually click on her solid bodies or members in
order to create beams.
as for me the only option i have is this

So i dont have the option to distinguish beams or joints.
Here is a pic. of what is seen in the video linked above

So if anyone can please shed some light on this matter it
would greatly be appreciated.
