Hi all...new to the forum.
I recently set up a new home CAD station. A friend tried to send me a zipped Pro/E file via email. It seemed as though the file I received had been turned into a .DAT file. I tried to send him an Iges file from my system, and the same thing happened on his end. I tried both my MSN and Yahoo email addresses but to no avail. I'm wondering if Windows XP automatically saves files as .DAT files by default. Any suggestions? Thanks.
