select the right plan / axis

I
have problem with the selection of axis and plans...... when I put the
mouse over plans it should high light blue to let me know that the mouse
is over the correct plan but it doesn't !

the second problem with assembly when I start the assembly the bodies disaperses

any one know what cues thees problems
