You know what I'm talking about - that text that sets in the lower right announcing the rep, style, family table...

It needs to go away, or at least be turned off via an environment option. Yes, I know it will temporarily go away by picking view shade.

Unfortunately this also temporarily overrides the the style state. Dradt!

Cosmetic Workaround is to change your hidden line color to match the bottom color of your blended background that way the text at the bottom of the screen will not be visible but you can still see hidden lines where the background gets lighter.

Or if you use black background and want to see hidden lines turn it to wireframe display mode which will be the only place you can see the hidden lines.
