screen reorientation while redefining

Is there a setting in the config.pro file or any other location so when a person redefines a component the screen does not rezoom itself? When I redefine a component I will be zoomed into the area I want to work andwhen I select the component to edit the screenshifts (any direction it wants to). This takes time to rezoom into the area I want to work in especially when I have several components to redefine.

Is there a setting to lock the screen while constraining?

Running WF3

Thanks in advance

Hello DMt 63,

I have no solution......but if anyone finds one they could sell it to ptc....unless its already in wf4/5.

Actually the work around is to set up your work area view, save it, create a mapkey to call the view up.....'w.a.p.i.t.a.'

.....and thats probably official

There is a command in the view drop down menu called
view->orientation->previous. I have mapped that to the
p key so anytime my view changes on me I hit "p" and it
takes me back to the previous view.

I would suggest that.
