I have modeled a rotor blade with a boundary blend and now wish to have the section mass center centered about a lecture curve. I understand this can be done with BMX starting by a Model Analysis/X-Section Mass Properties, assigning Datum Features to determine the distance from the x and y datums to the cg, then using Optimization to make these distances zero.
How should I assign the lecture curve?, if it follows the total length of the blade, the first section ( at the end ) there are no property values, same is true for the last section.
Does anyone have a model of a protrusion following a lecture curve being centered about the cg using BMX?
Any suggestions on how I might be doing this bettter? Thanks for the help.
