I want to replace the trajectory curve (2D curve on top that u can see running straight) with the new (3D) curve that is sitting next to it in the part below.
In order to create the 3D curve I had to leave sketch mode because the only way to produce it seems to be to Intersect two 2D curves on orthogonal planes.
Normally I would use Replace in sketch mode for this purpose. For example, I would Redefine the initial trajectory curve, thus going into sketcher mode, then draw new curve, and use Edit>Replace to make the substitution. However, this is not possibility in this case since creating the 3D curve requires leaving sketch mode but then once come back into sketch mode, of course the new curve not selectable.
So, what method can I use to swap the blue curve seen below in as replacement for the red curve that is presently active as the trajectory?
