Hello everyone!
I worked with Pro/E for 4
years till now (WF2/3/4 Intralink_3.3/Windchill_9) and although
registered to the forum since '06 I only lurked to find useful tips.
Now I want to partecipate a bit more (more than nothing at least).
Unfortunately
what I have to start is a question. Is there a way
to name or rename datums, in my case datum points, in a progressive
manner?
Points by default are named PNTn with n from 0 onward, but I
need to name them in series like An, Bn, etc. for many patterns created
along curves.
Then I'll make a table in the drawing to describe those curves with Cartesian coordinates.
The
parts will be milled and for that I'll send STEP files and equations of
the said curves, but I have to document with drawings also to test them.
I searched in the help but I found only something on ModelCHECK analysis, that I have never used.
What I'm doing now is rename (edit > setup > name feature) every single point in the model tree like a monkey would do.
Best Regards.
