Removing unwanted parameters

SW

New member
I'm trying to use Modelcheck to remove a parameter (the whole parameter not just the value) from a number of parts and assemblies.

I have added the lines PRT_PARM_UNWANTED and ASM_PARM_UNWANTED with the parameter name into the ModelCheck start file and configured ModelUpdate to run, but ModelCheck Interactive does not remove the parameters and does not seem to recoginise that the paramter should not be there. It adds other parameters that I've specified no problem.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks,

Sam

To sort this problem out it was necessary to adjust a few more settings in ModelCheck:

Initialisation Settings
MU_ENABLED

Start file
PRT_PARM_UNWANTED
ASM_PARM_UNWANTED

Check Files
PARAM_UNWANTED

I think there is another setting somewhere to remove the parameter from skeleton models too, but I couldn't find it.

Cheers,

Sam
