What is the preferred app for engineers when designing for stereolithography and rapid prototyping? We want to be ready for whatever file you all might send us. We have many file translation programs.

As a rapid prototyping vendor you should be capable of accepting a number of formats.

Common interchange formats used:

*.step
*.stp
*.iges
*.igs
*.stl
*.neu
*.x_t

As well as native file types from the various CAD systems:

Pro/Engineer (soon to be Creo)
SolidWorks
Unigraphics
Inventor
(there are more but these are all I remember)
