Random Poorly-Titled Question

hi, i desparetly need to movea fairly large model from 3ds max 8 to pro engineer wildfire or solidworks. I have tried stl but this only gives a facet feature in pro e but i need it to be solid so i can alter it. Obg does the same and iges won't seem to work at all.


Any tips please, i downloaded some free software but it only works for the 1st 1 hundred faces, i have 35000, am i going the have to snap points onto these faces and input all the surfaces again?

yeh, sorry meant obj, have exported from max and opened in pro e but all i get is a facet feature which i can do nothing with, any suggestions?

If there is granite explorer in Max, you can get export solids from
max. Only important thing is from what you create your max model-
polygons or surfaces? If you have polygons than what you expects? If
you have surfaces, than maybe something can be done.
