question about version control

Hi,

We are trying to move some CAD files from our local library to PDMlink server. However we found it's hard to synchronize the version letter in PDM and our own version letter, because PDM always put A when the file is checked in the system for the first time. And to change to B, we have to revize A dwg and make the change all over again. Is there a convenient way to move the existing files to the PDM sever while keep the version letter right?

We also had this problem and No it isnt possible. You have to check it in and then raise the revision to the level that you want.
