Pro mechanica

Hello,

We want to buy Pro/Mechanica, but without having to
contact a reseller.
First we want to know the Price of 1 lisence, to see if
its in our budget.

Can someone share this info with me?

It seems difficult to buy without dealing with a reseller.
I bought a ProE licence. I contacted 2 resellers and the second one told me stunning things !

Once you've contacted a reseller, this one gets a "priority" to the other ones.
In fact, your name is registered and it is forbidden, to other resellers, to give a cheaper price than the first one did.

This way, it's difficult to negociate ...

That's the way PTC work !

Have you looked into COMSOL. www.comsol.com . They are PTC partners. Maintance will be much less expensive. I paid $5000 3 years ago for mechanica. Maintance for mechanica option is $1500 a year.

COMSOL's package is also compatible with catia, solidworks and a few more. I have a mechanica seat, but i use COSMOS in solidworks 9 out of 10 times. I've been looking at COMSOL to have a unified simulation package for all our CAD systems.
