part dim in assembly drawing as a note

hello all.


i have a little problem here.


i need to give a dimension of a part in assembly drawing as a note.


say i have a draft on a part with 'dimension value' as 2 degrees and 'dimension name' as d658


now if i give this dimension name as a note in assembly drawing as &d658


its not showing the value.


i hope my question is clear enough.


please suggest some solutions.

Hi Sanjeev,


I have tried to capture the steps to create notes using part dimensions in assembly. The presentation file contains 2 slides. The first slide shows the steps to be followed in assembly file and the second slide shows the steps to be followed in drawing file. I hope this would clarify your doubt.
