NC Code Output

These questions are part of my software data management comparison report. It would be really great if anyone can help me with these.

How does the Pro-E system create NC output?
<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
Does the software price include post processors?

Are post processors customizable by the user?

Is it easy to switch a program between machines?

Is visualization of NC code output available?

Hi
Pro/Mfg does create an intermediate file called a cl file (apt code). You then run this file thru a postprocessor, which does come with Pro/Mfg (Pro-nc g-post). It does come with 'generic' post which you can customize to your liking. You can also download the generic/sample post from the site.

Pro/Mfg does come with Vericut which you can verify your intermediate code. If you buy an upgrade/module you will be able to verify G-code as well.

The way pro/mfg works is you will get a license and run it on a 'server'. Then you can install pro/mfg on any machine. You would only be able to run on one machine at a time, unless you buy more licenses.

Hope this helps.
