move a cube in the space

Hi!.

I need your help, this is my problem to solve (thanks in advance!).

I would like to create a motion where some cubes moves aorund inthe space, traslating and rotating along the three dimensions.

To do that I created an assembly where the position reference is realised by a surface cube. Along its edges and faces are positioned the little cubes I would like to move. The cubes should be able to coming out from the reference cube surface, traslate along X, Y and Z axis, and rotate themselves along the same axes. I tried to use the 6DOF connection, andI'm only able to traslate the cubes, but not rotate them. the system tell me that the component is not assembled, so that the rotation can not be realised...

If someone could help me describing me the right sequence of action to do, I'll be very happy.

Thamks in advance.

Sincerely.
