Modelling

I'm fairly new user for pro E... have couple of Qs to
complete my assignments

I've also been asked to create a drawing to current british
standards, what to do in order to make the model to meet
these standards?
How can I convert Imperial units to their metric equivalent
?

To change the units. edit pull down menu>setup>units. Change to the units you want. If you do not see what you want click new and make your own. When you hit ok it will ask you how you want to change.

1. convertdimensions changes the value of your dimensions (ex: 1 inch will become 25.4 mm)

2. interpret dimensions will keep the value you have for your dimensions (ex: 1 inch will become 1 mm)

As far as meeting current British drawing standards, you are going to have to have a copy of those standards. Then go through all the drawing options (rmb, properties/drawing options) & set them in accordance to the standards. Be sure to save the drawing options file so you can reuse it. If you are lucky, perhaps someone can upload a file.
