Model variations in 1 drawing

Is it possible to show different versions of the same model (i.e. with certain features suppressed) within one drawing.

I assume one can do this by making a copy of a part/assembly and referencing them separately, but I just wanted to know if this could done with a single model.

in part or assembly go to tools/family table

Add features, groups, dimensions, parameters, etc. that you want to suppress or vary. Then add a row for each instance (version) you need.

In the drawing, go to properties/models and add the instances that you want to show.

There is similar functionality available with simplified representations but you can't vary dimensions & parameters.

Thanks, that actually works quite well!
