mapkeys for windows?

hi everybody!
do you know of an application which provide similar capabilities to ProE's mapkey functionality for windows (windows core functionality)? i know there are some macro recording applications, but they capture mouse position and mouse clicks so they are dependent on where you click (unlike mapkeys).

It's very useful in Pro/E as well. I use it, for example, to change the mouse backward and forward buttons to be control and shift keys when Pro/E is active.
