manufacturing time estimate is off by sev

Hello folks,

I have noticed that the estimate of the manuf.
time pro/nc is calculating (shown in the process manager screen) is off
from the real value, independently of the the model being manufactured.
I have not estimated the difference, nor if there is a constant ratio
between the real manuf. time and the estimate.

We have just noticed the estimate provided by proe (pro n/c) is never accurate.

what can I do to fix this?

is there a config. option that I should set??

best regards, any thoughts/ideas area appreciated.

I have noticed the same thing, from what I can tell from other cam softwares I have used, the software does not factor in retracts or tool change times, only cut time. A rule I have aplied is to add 10min for every 60min stated in the process manager.

I tried using this a long time ago, but found a serious bug
in the calculation of the time to tap a hole. It was using
IPR as IPM or something like that, and gave wildly
inaccurate times, off by a factor of 10 or something like
that - so I just used Vericut's calculation instead, it's
almost spot-on.

I did file an SPR but didn't follow up to see if it was
corrected.
