Loft problems

Hi
I'm modelling a part for my bachelor thesis now and i'm
trying to use the loft function, but can't make work as i
want it to. If you see the edge on the picture, it's sharp
and with it looks wierd. I would like a smoother
transition. in other words, I would like the thickness to
be equal all over.

What profiles are you using for the loft?

Right now I'm using the face of the two half circles.I have also tried to the face of the part that is sticking out but that didn't work out either. I have attached the file below so it's easier to see what i have done.
