License server install question

When I try to Install a new version of the PTC license server (I am upgrading from FLEXlm to FLEXnet) I get the message:


"PTC.Setup has determined that you are configuring an existing installation, would you like to recopy all files from the CD?" YES/NO


What does this mean and what is the correct answer?


(I don't want to upgrade Pro/E at this time, just the license server...)

Hi

It look like you are installing same version. Are you sure that it is a new version of license server and not the same?
Anyway just answer yes and the "new" installation will install in top (overwrite) the old.
Be sure you have a copy of the old installation. Some files can be config in a none default way, and then you can take a look in the old files.
