Interpolation problem

Hi everyone,

I'm having difficulty with surface milling sequences. I can't get it to output as arc or helical (G02) even witha simply sequence. It outputs correctly for profile milling though. I have tried changing the acurracy and tolerance values. Not sure what else could effect it. Both the CL files and TAP files show point to point dataso that rules out the Post processor right?

I'm on wildfire 2 M050. If anyone can offer any advice I will be most grateful! Thanks and Regards

Cedric

Generally with surface milling it will not output 'circle' statements. point data only.
However you can have your post output g2 or g3 (helical as well).
You need to turn on curve fitting.

So I should just set my tolerance value down and hope thatsomeday PTC will upgrade their machining.. :)

Thanksfor your reply Tony.
