IGES creation - External Geometry

When Creating an IGES file of an assembly, is there a setting which enables you to just capture the external geometry? I would rather not send out my IGES files with all the guts attached.

When I use the Default Settings for IGES Creation...It came with all my Internal parts.

Hi,

There is a select quilt option where you can select the quilts you want to export. This option is available when you save the file in iges form.

... if quilts exist. Solid faces don't count.

The option is avialable in STEP, SAT, etc., too, if Export: Surfaces is selected.

First create a shrinkwrap model (with auto-hole-fill or all holes covered by surfs), then convert it into IGES
