I need relief

Reliefs:


Am I always restricted to either the material thickness or 2x the thickness for the relief? How do I modify if for example I want to raise the material thickness but use the same tooling

Try making the actual bend instead of the flange or flat wall, then you will get the option to "enter value" for the relief. WF3 seems to have removed that option compared to wf2? You can also choose to refer to a parameter set.

[Ring]

You can also create the flange with a rip relief, "unbend" it and use an extrusion to create your own. I do alot of exporting of IGES files into my sheetmetal programming system. (turrets) If you intend to use your models for cam work, make sure you have clean reliefs with no extra lines. This can be checked in the wireframe(hidden) view.
