how to give tolerance in drwing view

To set a tolerance in a dimention. Click on the dimension, then right click, select properties.


A Dimension Properties tab will open. At properties just select the tolerance mode, tolerance table and then set the tolerance. Click ok and you have it.
 
For Geometric tolerance.


Click insert - Geometric tolerance.


Geometric Tolerance tab will open. Select symbol needed. Datum refs, Tol Value and aditional symbols if needed.


In model refs tab, select reference Type and Placement type. Place the tolerance on drawing and click ok.
 
you have to set both environment variables and settings in you dtl file before those options Jacon describes will work.

tol display = yes or something like that.
