how easy to pick up UG

I'm interviewing for a job that will use UG instead of pro/e. I'm well experienced with pro/e from 18 to WF3. How much will it take me to pick up UG? I learned solidworks 97 without training pretty quick. How similar to the feature design creation of Pro is UG NX4 that those have used both?





Thanks for any input. This will help me decide whether I'll need to go to a quick start training course. I'll be doing steam turbines etc which is different from the stuff i'm used to modeling but should be too different right?

The actual modeling techniques are similar. The menu structures are different.


One of the good things we used to say about UG was that there were multiple methods to obtain the same results. One of the bad things we used to say about UG was that there are multiple ways to obtain the same results.
