In pro-e aseembly what is the difference between the ALIGN and INSERT.

align is used to make a certain point, datum plane, axis..etc align/contact with each other while insert is only usedto makecylindrical features coaxial...

Consider you want to assemble a shaft inside a hole. There are two options, either you can "ALIGN" the axis of the shaft with that of the hole or you can "INSERT" the surface of shaft inside the surface of hole. (This topic should be in assembly forum and not in the drawing forum)
