Hi Gurus

I am wondering if anybody could help me with this problem? If I want to analysis a thinplate made of laminate. I have to use shell. How do I make a single layer of shell? I tired, but I can only add shell on top of a solid. Is there anyway to make a single shell laminate?

Thanks

Kathy

One can use surface modelling to get required geometry for laminate.
Then from top menu Insert>Shell. Select Advanced as an type. Define
your laminate properties from Shell Property selection using Laminate
LayUp or Laminate Stiffness options.

More help can be found from help (search: "laminate").
