Hello folks,

I
have noticed that the estimate of the manuf. time pro/nc is calculating
(shown in the process manager screen) is off from the real value,
independently of the the model being manufactured. I have not estimated
the difference, nor if there is a constant ratio between the real
manuf. time and the estimate.

We have just noticed the estimate provided by proe (pro n/c) is never accurate.

what can I do to fix this?

is there a config. option that I should set??

best regards, any thoughts/ideas area appreciated.

Al.

Alvaro,

You're trying to discover "life on mars"...., is not easy as you think, just to change a parameter on the config. Proe is accurate is the path nc sequences you're programming on, all depends on the CNC you're using, the strategies too, let say high speed, or whatever.

In my case you can estimatea ratio, but all depends on your experience, yourprogramming and machining skills.

I haveguys with more than 18 years programming with proe, and they get theknow-how you're looking for, but spend a lot of time acquiring it.

Regards

Pablo
