I come across some problem when I use FEM thermal analysis.<?:NAMESPACE PREFIX = O />

Because I need to use Radiation condition, I have to use FEM thermal. However, I try many method to run it....but I still don't know how to run and show the analysis.........very anxiety now...

let me tell you what I did:

1.open a model in FEM thermal

2.give radiation condition and heat load

3.mesh the model

4.creat new analysis in FEM analysis

5.run FEM analysis

................then don't know what to do

Do I have something wrong???

Could you brief the steps to me??

Thank you very much!!!!

Have you some external solver like Ansys, Nastran or your own? If yes. Look into the help of Pro/E Simulationfor config and set up the path to the solver. Also you can generate a file like "hahaha.ans" for export mesh, loads and constrains into Ansys from Pro/E FEM and solve the problemwith Ansys or another FEM solver.

Do you mean if I use FEM thermal in mechanica, I need external solver?

Pro/mechanica itself just can analyze conduction and convention?

Yes, that's what he means. FEM has no processor. If you dont have any external solver, you could do a hand calc on the heat transfer due to radiation and apply it in Pro/MECHANICA as a heat load.
