GDT symbol in drafting

Hi,


I could notplace the wnd positional tolerance (dia 4) (with angle tolerance successfully) as desired (shown in picture below)..If I select the reference as edge, then i could not place it away from the edge,


Can some one help..?

When you place the tolerance you need to select the option for placement as "TANGENT LEADER". then select the edge that you want the leader to be placed on. This should allow you to put the tolerance where you want it. Hope this helps.

that would not make me to place it out of the edge , it can only place its leader arrow head within the edge chosen..


Anyway, i have found another way, that is construct a draft line along the edge, then do"edit attachment" of the GDT to now chose the draft line, hence i got what i wanted!
