Flattening of Ribbon cable

Hello all,

I need a little push here.

At this point of time i know how to flatten the normal cables.

But its not helping me when i go for Ribbon cables.
Any difference in procedure for Ribbons.

Whats happening is, the connector is not sitting at the ends of the cable, instead its may be 20mm offsetted from the cable.

Any idea of moving the connector at the end of cable location.
